For Gigi.
I am
like the cactuses
I grow:
tall
dry
thorny
cold
and wounding
but
damned
once in a while
I cannot help
giving you
from my center
a yellow flower.
DELPHI
If you hear
the song of the owl
you will die
If by chance
you never hear the song of the owl
you will die likewise
Only gods
can hear the voices of the birds
without trembling
TUNGUSKA
There is not city in Tunguska
(only the footprint
only the comet’s trace
impossible to find
and the commotion
of certain bodies
knocked down towards a place in the forests
where ice
turns into fireflies)
